Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is an actor best known for playing Bo on The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of the drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending play rehearsals. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for kids. Silk graduated from St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least two early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999, to keep acting. She then relocated in Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an Actors' Workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They got married the year 2009 and wed with a civil ceremony the month of December in that same year. They renewed their vows on the 10th of April in Fredericton in a Jewish wedding ceremony following Silk's changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Her second son Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. In 2009 she landed the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the final season episode and broke the news to fans of the series during an episode of the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she was ready to return to working. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production for the fourth season. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) as well as Lauren (played by Zoie) and Lauren (Zoie) one of their top TV couple. Entertainment Television.
