Washington Butler was a native Puyallup Washington was always interested in arts and crafts. The choir she sang in was entered into contests for singing and also performed in high school and community theatre. After that, she relocated into Los Angeles and studied theatre at the University of Southern California. For one year and a half, she was Belle the princess in Beauty and the Beast. She dropped out of college focused on finding an agent for talent and started looking for opportunities in television and film. Butler was a guest in The TV series CSI: Miami. In November of 2011, Butler as well as Estella Warren started filming the thriller based on psychological research The Stranger Within in Mallorca the Spanish island of Mallorca.
