Paul Wesley is a multi-award winning actor, producer, and director. He's best known for portraying the character Paul on the TV show The Vampire Diaries. For his role in The Vampire Diaries, the actor received numerous awards as well as nominations. Wesley is a native of the United States who began acting when he was in school. Rutgers University was his next stop. Once he realised that his talents as an actor could make a difference in a career, he decided to drop out. The cult American TV soap Another World was his first TV role. The next role on TV was on the CBS series Wolf Lake. He reached the pinnacle in his career as he was cast in the role of Stefan Salvatore in the American television series The Vampire Diaries. In addition, he has been directing episodes of the popular series. Since his debut in the movie The Last Run he has appeared in several popular movies. Recently, he was seen in the film Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as a supporting character. Also, he is fairly popular via social media. He has more than thirteen million Instagram followers, and 4.1 million Twitter followers.
